Project description (English)
The Corridor Écologique Darlington is a large urban project spanning several years carried by the University of Montreal in collaboration with the Côte-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame-de-Grâce borough. The Corridor project focuses on the development of an integrated ecological network through greening, urban agriculture, rainwater management and any other ecological intervention in order to improve the living environment of residents. The approach adopted is intended to be collaborative, participatory and partnership-based. It offers interventions for and with the actors concerned (residents, citizens, municipality, institutions, businesses, organizations and experts) through the insertion of interrelated ecological micro projects and according to development opportunities and the needs of the various stakeholders.

Le Corridor écologique Darlington est un grand projet urbain s’échelonnant sur plusieurs années. Il est porté par l’Université de Montréal en collaboration avec l’arrondissement Côte-des-Neiges-Notre-Dame-de-Grâce. Le projet du Corridor mise sur le développement d’un réseau écologique intégré par le verdissement, l’agriculture urbaine, la gestion des eaux pluviales et tout autre intervention écologique afin d’améliorer le cadre de vie des résidents. L’approche adoptée se veut collaborative, participative et partenariale. Elle propose des interventions pour et avec les acteurs concernés (résidents, citoyens, municipalité, institutions, commerces, organismes et experts) par l’insertion de micro projets écologiques inter-reliés et selon les opportunités de développement et les besoins des différentes parties prenantes.
